The Smallest but Greatest

I’m working as an engineer in a Palm Oil Industry for 8 years now. Besides producing my palm oil product and sale, we produce and manage our own electricity power and to supply our factory, office and for domestic use. In order to produce the energy, we used waste product for burning which produced amount of steam and supply to the steam turbine and later convert the energy using alternator. This is the hard way. The easier is by using Diesel and run 4 stroke engine and transfers the energy to the alternator to produce electricity.
Electricity been generated was a 1500 kW or 1.5MW. We supplied 415V for the factory usage and 240V for office and domestic use. Interesting job I tell you. People can judge you by the consistency of electricity you supply them. Heheheh.. No need for the Government to supply, just don’t forget the “Regulations” set by them. Read more »
