Electricity Shock

The Smallest but Greatest

I’m working as an engineer in a Palm Oil Industry for 8 years now. Besides producing my palm oil product and sale, we produce and manage our own electricity power and to supply our factory, office and for domestic use. In order to produce the energy, we used waste product for burning which produced amount of steam and supply to the steam turbine and later convert the energy using alternator. This is the hard way. The easier is by using Diesel and run 4 stroke engine and transfers the energy to the alternator to produce electricity.
Electricity been generated was a 1500 kW or 1.5MW. We supplied 415V for the factory usage and 240V for office and domestic use. Interesting job I tell you. People can judge you by the consistency of electricity you supply them. Heheheh.. No need for the Government to supply, just don’t forget the “Regulations” set by them.
What I like to highlight here is that, ever since I become engineer, I have seen, used, serviced and troubleshoot with various type of Power Generator. 14MW, 2MW, 1.5MW, 1.2MW, 800kW, 650kW, 250kW, 180kW, 100kW, 50kW, 10kW, 5kW, 2.4kW and 1.2kW. I have experienced and seen them everywhere. But surprisingly, I heard selling in the market selling these days a 850W Gen-Set with petrol combustion. Just Nothing lah.. Only i’ve been used the larger one, that’s why i got shock for its size. Maybe the smallest in Malaysia, or the world, or maybe the smallest in the universe. Heheh.. Maybe lah..

The Starter

Recoil Hand Starter

So what I do next.. Ha ha ha ha ha (LOL).. I’m bought it lah.. It’s cost me RM240 which i think can be useful to me. I can use it for camping, hunting, fishing all kind of out-door activities at night time. Just start the engine, connect to your fluorescent lamp, rice cooker, electric pan, fan and you can enjoy the night with family or your friends. Those who have a different interest like Sabung Ayam, Poker (Pia-Pia-Pu, Joker, 21, Black Jack, Domeng), Sarang Burung Collector or spending a night at the farm, Barbequeing, haa.. banyak lah..

the specification name plate

Current frequency 50 hertz, suit with the AVR much better

How about the specifications? The weight is only 20kg. (sebelah tangan pun boleh angkat). Maximum Power 850kW, You know how big is 850Watt, let me teach you how to measure the power. 850W Petrol Engine Generator equivalent to 14 units of your fluorescents lamp at you home or equivalent to 6 units of 29” TV or equivalents to keep your hair straight.. hehheheh.. Buy it lah.. Don’t think twice.. Even if you don’t pay your electricity bill, you still can watch the EPL at your home. The Generator set will be useful for you. Believe on it.

    Think twice, Cindy.

Maybe its easier to get to the saloon than to get the petrol. Its a man’s job, don’t dirty your hands with the minyak kotor. Nanti you break one finger nail, nah.. jelek ndak sama rata. Hehehe.

Definitely useful especially in Sabah interior or kampungs. Especially if you are having majlis makan-makan etc, you don’t want to be stuck without a backup.
